Favourite Choir Song: Kristallen den fina

I was part of a choir in my junior college years. One song that I love love love and cannot forget about is this song.

Luckily youtube has it:

"Kristallen den fina" (Like Crystal that's gleaming) - swedish folk song performed by male choir Orphei Drängar.
The intro is a Herding call played on cow horn by Pelle Jakobsson.

So here is the video for you to listen and enjoy :)

Green, laid-back, comfortable homes

So I wish to decorate my home... or maybe I could settle with any other homes

Whenever I plan to move to  new house, I always dream of having little corners of the house filled with my DIY creations. I  like to think of the house to have a simple, minimalist yet modern and edgy design.

So whenever I browse the net for daily inspirations and relaxations,
I always make the effort to archive all these stumbled-upon awesome creative ideas.

Apparently, the task of decorating (or may I say the privilege) is always assigned to my mom. Haha I think sometimes it's because I've got too many ideas that it scares my other family members too.. So I thought I would organise my ideas here in writing, and share them with you,

perhaps for my future house or any takers?

Christian Dior Spring 2012 Couture

>> Bill Gaytten went for pure nostalgia at Dior's Spring 2012 couture show in Paris earlier today. "All the structure of iconic Dior, thanks to lots of fittings, but all of it see-through," Gaytten explained. And so, the house's New Look silhouettes were done up in layers of ultra-femme chiffon, organza, gauze, and — for a bit of tough-edged modernity — croc-stamped leather and checks.

i had never liked animals, never.

but I always thought that having pets will be good for a child's growth;
you know, help them to get in touch with their emotions, and don't grow up to be a cold-hearted person nor a distant person, like me.

so I've been telling myself that when I have kids, I'll have a dog at home.
and I also hope that my husband will be one who like or love animals. haha
(and yesterday when I told my friend about this, she was like: "what? is it because of 'Marley & Me'?" haha I've not even watched the movie yet.)

I'll learn not to be scared of animals anymore, cos up until now, I figured that i sort of like animals and sometimes I think they're cute,
however, once they GET MOVIN' towards me or just show signs of life, I immediately build a wall around me, one that will make sure they won't go anywhere near myself. (or I'll run, or I'll hide, or I'll go someplace higher, or ask someone to shoo the 'dangerous moving object' away.

yup anyways, I will learn to love animals, and some of them are really adorable.
Take a look at these photos:

(do you know? otters hold hands when they sleep, so they won't float away from each other)

mandarin ducks, just look at those colours!

a lizard is actually a beautiful creature, I especially like the shape of its feet

gorgeous octopus

innocent piggies

hey beautiful creatures, I'll learn to love you someday!
